The show “Double Pulse” will be recorded for TV at Palladium, Malmo, May 31st!
I am delighted to announce that tickets are now for sale for this special event. On Tuesday May 31st I will team up with superb percussionist Måns Block (Timbuktu, Damn!), to form the duo “Double Pulse”. In a show with the same name Måns and I will join up with Vindla String Quartet for an exclusive partnership at the stunning venue Palladium in Malmo, Sweden.
The audience will be taken on a musical journey. Following my travels to different corners of Europe I have written music inspired by different colours, images and experiences. There will be two shows at 4pm and 7pm, offering powerful rhythms and seductive harmonies.

I am delighted to announce the show “Double Pulse” which will take place at the beautiful Palladium in Malmo, Sweden on May 31st at 4pm and 7pm. Together with percussionist Måns Block ( Timbuktu and Damn), we will be appearing in an exclusive collaboration with Vindla String Quartet. Both shows are being recorded for TV.
Impression is inspired by a piano solo concert I went to while studying the piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen. The pianist, Michel Camilo, started a great encore with the left hand only and it was an experience that stayed with me. When writing Impression I started out wanting an effective left-hand that kept going non-stop, and then I tried to shake off the listener and confuse Måns by mixing the time signatures in the middle of the piece.
